Steve McClatchy is a keynote speaker, workshop leader and author of the New York Times Bestseller Decide: Work Smarter, Reduce Your Stress & Lead by Example.  Steve has spoken before thousands of audiences on the topics of leadership, performance, personal growth, and work/life engagement.  His client list includes the NFL, Google, Pfizer, Microsoft, Disney, NBC Universal, Accenture, John Deere, Under Armour, Wells Fargo and Campbell’s Soup.  He is a frequent guest lecturer at Harvard and Wharton. He has appeared on ABC, CBS, Fox News, NBC’s Today Show and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Entrepreneur and Investor’s Business Daily.  Steve’s passion is for continual improvement and believes that when we stop learning, gaining experience and achieving goals we stop living.  Steve is best known for his passion, sense of humor and energetic personality.  You will be captivated, motivated and truly inspired by his unique and practical approach to effectiveness and success. 



Jeff Zych of IBM will lead a session on the use of business analytics and how it is changing the landscape for insurance carriers to more effectively collect it’s receivables. This will include some real life examples of how data analytics is being used today to improve collection results as well as improve the overall customer experience. The session will also touch on the future of insurance collections and how the use of data will be a critical tool for carriers to improve their decision making process and ultimately improve their cash flow.

Jeff Zych is an Associate Partner and IBM’s Lead Account Partner for Allstate Insurance. He joined IBM Service’s Insurance practice in 2013 and was most recently named the insurance industry leader for Billing & Collections platform business delivery. His responsibilities include leadership over operational and analytics innovation activities designed to enhance the customer experience while addressing business side collections risk through cognitive and other technologies.

Before joining IBM, Jeff was a CFO & COO within the industry on the carrier and broker sides. He led numerous large insurance operations redesigns and transformation engagements for Life, Disability and P&C carriers and brokers. Jeff is a CIA and has a CRMA designation

Jeff lives outside of Chicago with his wife and two children. He is very active with his 501c3 insurance charity, is a former professional bowler, and loves to play hockey, golf and poker.


Susan Atkins
Sue Atkins, Director - Human Resources at Travelers Insurance, partners with both leaders and employees on matters of human capital in two Virginia offices. Her client group consists of nearly 400 professionals in the Underwriting, Service, and Operations teams across fifteen revenue producing lines of business and five major operational units, including the Business Insurance Billing Operation.

Prior to joining Travelers in 2017, Sue was the Senior HR Business Partner for Willis Towers Watson’s Atlantic Region. From 1997 to 2014, Sue held human resources positions of increasing responsibility with Coventry Health Care / Aetna culminating in the role if Senior HR Partner for Aetna’s Medicaid division. Her previous work includes human resources positions in the public sector (transportation and student loans) as well as telecommunications.

Sue earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in 1996; the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans in 2003; and the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in 2015. She is a proud alumna of James Madison University.
